Project: Raise awareness and program education.
Why are life skills necessary for the Indonesian young generation?
To prepare the next generation of Indonesians to face the 21st century, formal education and knowledge, thinking critically, and the ability to implement are not enough anymore, especially with the digital transformation revolution that reshapes how the world works.
With Life Skills, the young generation will be equipped to tackle their daily challenges using soft skills in navigating their situations such as developing relationships and collaborations, creating solutions, decision-making, handling emotions, managing risk, and teamwork.
The Life Skill program proposed by Unicef is aligned with the objective of the government’s aim to build and develop the profile characteristics of Pancasila as the Indonesian future generation.
One of the many efforts Unicef developed was a material set of communication tools to be distributed amongst students and teachers to raise their awareness of these specific skills as a critical element in achieving their future goals and empowering them to live better lives.
More than ever, the young generation needs to own “Life Skills” now…see more artworks
